Hi Folks,

We're finalizing our eAPR submission and have a question regarding proof of funds: Both my spouse and I are applying, and the funds needed are in a jointly held bank account (me and her.) If I am the main applicant, do I need to submit a declaration form from her, not objecting to the use of funds for Canada, or is it ok, since she is accompanying me?

If a declaration is needed, should it be notarized?

Thanks,

I am also curious to the answer for that question as well

Hopefully we can get an answer from some of the more experienced members of this forum :)

Self declaration by your spouse on plain paper can be submitted, no need for notarization.
