I live in Germany and need to show CAD 15,000 in my Bank, but I don't have enough. If my sister in the US sends me dollars 8,000 into my German Bank Account as a gift. What things should I show? A gift/affidavit letter from my sister (What kind of letter is this - just a simple letter with my sister's signature or does it have to be a letter - a lawyer has to write it), do I also need bank transaction details? and also a letter to show that I accept the gift (also should it be legal) ... So much confusion here.... Guys please help and share your experiences.
