Hello guys. Does job bank profile also need to be recreated if express entry profile recreated after its expiry?

I created one of my friends Express entry profile yesterday, and updated the new EE profile number and job seeker code in the active job bank site. Now after 24 hrs the profile shows submitted instead of open. Is this normal should not it be in open status instead of submitted
