Hi,

I just created an EE profile and submitted my application; however, I have received an email right away saying that I was ineligible at this time. I am freaked out! In the submitted profile (page) everywhere it says: Not Met. Not Met. What is going on?? :-\ :'( Did I mess up somewhere or is there a way for me to update my profile and re-submit it? Or there is no way at all updating and re-submitting my EE application to the CIC. In the application it says:

Express Entry Profile Effective Date
February 21, 2017

Express Entry Client Expiry Date
February 21, 2018

Does it mean that I cannot submit any application till 2018 or what?

Any clarification will be appreciated!

Unless you tell us your credentials there is no way of knowing the specific reason as to why you're profile was deemed ineligible.

- I was applying under Canadian Experience Class.
- A degree obtained in Canada
- Met all language requirements (IELTS General)
- However, my experience under the skilled category was less than a year for now... Maybe this was the reason why I was ineligible? :'(.

To be eligible for express entry, you must have minimum one year continuous experience in your primary NOC.

The bolded part is the reason.

You need a year of skilled work experience (the continuous part does not apply for CEC)

thanks for the reply!

SO, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY INELIGIBLE APPLICATION? IS THERE A WAY FOR ME TO DELETE AND/OR UPDATE MY SUBMITTED APPLICATION? OR Do I need to wait for another year, which says till February 21, 2018? Thanks so much! :-\ :'(

You cannot delete but you don't have to wait until next year to create a new one either.

Once you fulfill the requirements create a new profile, ignore the ineligible one.

Thanks so much for your reply. If I create another profile and submit then it will be ineligible again?... :'(

How long then should I wait or it is better to wait and re-submit a new application taking into account the fact that in the CIC website it says 12 months full and/or equivalent work experience... :-\ :'( :'( If I do not have to wait until next year....

If you create another profile right now it will be ineligible.

You have to wait until you are actually eligible under the CEC program.
