Express entry - primary applicant

Hi,

I have 46x points in express entry while my wife has 47x.

We already got an ITA for her and the application is in processing, but considering the current point requirements, I'm planning to create a profile for myself and apply as a backup. Have a couple of questions for the experts here.

1) Can we create 2 profiles one for each of us as primary applicant?
2) If I get an ITA can we have 2 applications in parallel? or If I get an ITA can i wait and if we get a rejection for her I can apply
3) what is the current timeline for a response after the final doucment submission after ITA.

2) If I get an ITA can we have 2 applications in parallel? or If I get an ITA can i wait and if we get a rejection for her I can apply A: You cannot have two applications in parallel. If the first one gets rejected and your ITA is still live then yes you can.
3) what is the current timeline for a response after the final doucment submission after ITA.
