I have an Express Entry PR and have been living in Ontario for the past 2.5 years. Due to covid, I had to move to Quebec for a job and now I have to apply for Provincial Health Insurance here.

Is that going to create a problem in the long run? On the Quebec Health Insurance page, it asks if I am here to Settle or a temporary worker. If I select temporary worker, it says I am covered under my previous province and I do not need a Quebec Health Card. But my office says in order to be eligible for employer provided health insurance I need to have Quebec Health Card.

I am so confused.

Please help!

It's not clear if you already have PR or you have a PR application through Express Entry that is still in progress and not yet approved.

I am going to assume that you already have PR. If so, you are free to move to Quebec. You are not a temporary worker if you have PR.
