I'm in a confused situation and want to know your opinions on it. I am currently in Canada on an open work permit valid till 2025, I am going to be eligible to apply for PR in November. My fiance is in India and has been rejected a study permit 4 times. Should we be applying in CEC express entry together as a married couple (points 506 together) or should I apply for my PR first (510 points) and then apply for spousal sponsorship for him. He individually does not have points due to lack of work ex/canadian education. We are scared of getting rejected in both cases as we were planning to do only a small scale court marriage for application purpose and a big Indian wedding after 1-2 years.
We spoke to an immigration consultant who said that we might be rejected dure to my fiance's previous rejections and only doing court marriage. We have been together since 7years PLSS HELP!!!!
