Express entry or PNP

I completed my 2 year MBA and now I'm working as an assistant manager with a big Canadian retailer. Its a full-time permanent job.

I'm just trying to understand my options. Should I apply through PNP or Express entry?

PNP's have an EE stream for people already accepted on the pool. If you score over 475 points on EE you will most likely get an Invitation to Apply for permanent residency. If not, then applying to a PNP and getting nominated by a province gives yo 609 extra points and you get an ITA on the next draw.

Thanks. But here in my province PNP takes more than a year for processing.

Should I ask my employer to do LMIA?

Currently an LMIA also gives 600 extra points on EE

What province are you in?

In any circumstances having an LMIA approved job offer is the quickest way to get a PR.
