Express Entry:new police certificate if I travel after PR application submitted?

Hi

Assume one submitted EE PR application and then flies to home country or anywhere in the world. Then am I right that they don't need to get new police certificate and send to CIC?
I mean is it true that police certificate is necessary only based on where and how long the person lived or traveled BEFORE submitting PR application?

Once you have submitted your application feel free to travel, you wont have to submit a new PCC.

In general, that is true. But IRCC is free to ask for a new PCC at any time.
