Express Entry Job offer and LMIA

Hi, I am currently on IEC visa. I am planning to apply for express entry. I am going to obtain written job offer from my current employer. I am wondering it their job offer needs to be supported by LMIA if I have worked for more than 1 year (full time) for the exact same employer? Thanks

Yes - the job offer needs to be supported by an approved LMIA in order for you to receive the 50 job offer points under EE.
