Hi Everyone,
I've created an Express Entry profile now for the FSW category with my CRS score at 435. I hope to receive the ITA in the upcoming draws but I have a few questions about gathering funds and the associated proof. I have mentioned in my profile that I will bring CAD 13,000 with me since I don't have any dependents. At this point I only have about CAD 4000 in my bank account. However, I plan to get my father to transfer about CAD 6500 from his account to mine. For the rest of the amount I will make further arrangements. Now here's my questions:
1. Would there be any issues with getting such an amount transferred over to my bank account? Since I live with my parents there was/is never a stringent management of the flow of money within the family. If you're Indian (or from any subcontinent country) you'd know what I am talking about.
2. If the first point sounds like a bad idea then what are the alternatives here?

You can get the funds transferred from your parents. But make sure to attach a gift deed while submitting your application post ITA.

Source of funds will be applicable for you. Since your father is paying the gift deed, his source of funds will not be a concern for the authorities

How do I attach the gift deed? Could you please explain the procedure?
Don't worry about attaching the gift deed now. You need it only while submitting your documents post ITA. As of now get the funds transferred to your account.

Thanks, Doctor! :)
A regular NEFT transfer or via cheque would be good enough?

Can my father in law transfer money to my account for proof of funds?

Secondly if my father has transferred money through bank to bank transfer instead of cheque then is it valid?
If it's valid then how to format the gift deed letter?
