express entry file different from visitor visa?

Dear all,

First thanks for all who sharing their experience that help me with my road of express entry.

I just submitted my appliaction yesterday and I realized that I may have an issue with my working time.

in 2018 I have applied for Canadian visitor visa and during my application I misput my working time. (I wrote that my job start at 2016 but I actually start at 2015).

Now in my express entry I have submitted documents to show my work start at 2015, so it is inconsistent with my previous visitor visa application.

Would this create an issue with my express entry? Do I need to write a LOE to explain this inconsistency?

Yes, it can create an issue. If you have previously applied with IRCC for whatever reason, that file is cross checked with your new file.

It would be better, that you submit an explanation by raising a CSE.
