Hi Everyone,

I recently took part for IELTS exams and unfortunately by score was low which I got 6.5 in total.

I have completed my studies in 2018 - in a diploma program of Interior decorating for two years.

Also, I have worked 7 months as an accounts receivable (Jan-July 2019), 7 months as a Kitchen Designer (July 2019 -Jan 2020)e and currently I am working as a Customer service (call centre) as from Feb 2020.

So, I am requesting your assistance, whether if there is anyway I can boost up my points before applying express entry PR?

Will I be eligible to apply Express entry?

Thank you for your help.

Kind Regards,

Ridwaan

You need a good IELTS score, there is no other way other around it, Also your work experiences should fall under NOC O or A or B and you need to have 3 years of work experience.

You are not eligible for EE. You need one year, continuous skilled experience in one NOC to even submit a profile. What are your IELTs scores?

Hi, Thank you for the clarifications.
One last question I would like to ask you.

I submitted my PR application and of course it got rejected because not enough points. I was my mistake I should have wait and re-take my IELTS exams.

Is it going to affect my next application or it does not matter at all for future application?

Thank you for your help.

No it does not. Also how did you apply without an ITA?

No it doesn’t matter for future applications. Also you need a year of continuous skilled experience which you don’t have.

Hi,

So to my understanding, I should work at least one year - As a Bilingual service my NOC goes under category C?

No, NOC C work experience does not qualify.

You need at least one year of work experience in a NOC A, B or 0 role.

@Naturgrl - Yes I did my IELTS and its a low score. I need to re-take it again plus I will do the TEF as you suggested.

I work as an interior decorator "Something I do on the side" - I can ask the manager to provide me an offer letter to include in my application?

Thank you for your help.

If you want to claim the 50 job offer points, your employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA in addition to giving you a job offer.

okay.

I always thought that 12 month work experience - one can apply for PR

I guess the criteria's changed now - is it 3 years working experience right? and it has to go under the NOC 0 , A or B?
