Hi everybody, got my EOR submitted today, sitting at 474 Points here i have couple of questions:

Got FBI background check back in end of April (USA)
Q: Will that background check need to be updated now ? Or it is still OK? I can send one more tomorrow if needed.

Live in USA without any status now, been here for almost 9 years.

Q: If accepted, will i be able to go directly to Canada from US even though i'm out of status here ?

I have 3 years of work experience without one day, will that cause an issue ? I mean it one day and even when i submitted EOR they had only asked for month and year of employment start and finish dates.

I did not use any representative for my case, i feel like most of the application work is self explanatory. If i get ITA i might consider hiring someone, but still in doubt.

Thanks for your replies and good luck to everyone.

Your case is difficult as is. You are an illegal alien - as far as i understood. This might have a huge impact on your application, you will have to declare it in your form, otherwise it may cause serious issues.

In terms of PCC, it depends on your invite, usually PCC is valid for 6 month. i.e. if it will be more than 6 month old, you will need to review it.

All in all I will suggest to contact immigration consultant.

well i was legal in US for 8 years almost, in last year i got my asylum case denied here, so i'm out of status, it is not like i crossed border here illegally. I asked one lawyer about it - he said that Canadian government doesn't care about your status in other country as long as your background check is fine.
I hope that is true, otherwise i can go back to Ukraine and come to Canada from there. Once i have an ITA i'll probably hire consultant to make my life easier.
