Hey guys, was just having a quick question. Met with a consultant yesterday and I have my Noc job code in 6314 which is NOC B. But they were saying it will not be enough and I need to have an NOC 0. I asked how come because on the website it says Noc 0 , A or B. But they said it’s because I only have associate degree and that would be for someone with bachelors or masters. I sort of dint believe them but does anyone think this is true? Can you please share your opinions? Thank you

For FSW under Express Entry, there is nothing like that.

Some PNP may have a requirement to have at least a Bachelors degree, but that too depends on the ECA evaluation result.

I think what your consultant is saying is that because you only have an associate degree, you won't score enough points to be selected for PR through Express Entry. Right now you need to have around 470+ points to be selected. How many points do you have?

And yes, it would be the same for CEC.

When i calculated with another consultant they said it was coming to 462. Do you think it would be enough? I have been in Canada for about 5 years now....they still wont grant me PR.....I dont know what im to do now

That's too low right now. You will need to increase your score by rewriting the language tests and getting a higher score. Or you will need to look into the PNP programs instead.
