Express Entry - AoR

It may sound little lame question but can any senior pls illuminate if there is any lapse between the time you submit the EE application and the time you receive the AoR?

The thing is - I submitted my EE application few hours back.
I can see that the timeline to submit the EE profile application is replaced by the application submitted status.
However, I have not received any AoR mail/notification from CIC, neither in my account nor in my mail.
Is this the standard procedure or do I need to get in touch with CIC?

Also, I assume it will be digital notification sent to my account/mail but when I combed the forum, I got to know that some folks received AoR (hard copy) by courier. Is this for local applicants or for all applicants?

Okay..so this is little worrisome.
It's been more than 36 hours since I submitted by application with all the documents and I have still not received the AoR.
Can anyone pls guide what could be the reason and what is rational step for me here?
