Points:
This appears to be unhandled edge case on IRCC's side. Did it anyone ever encounter this or knows the best way forward with this issue?
Should I incorrectly say "No" that I did not extend my work permit but add my documents and a letter of explanation if there is no correct way really?
- 2 months before my PGWP was about to expire, I applied to extend my work permit.
- However my PR was approved before my extended work permit application.
- 1 month after my PR was approved, my extended work permit application was approved which I then returned to IRCC as I had no use of it.
- Now in citizenship application it asks if I extended my work permit to which I answer yes.
- For the section "Expiry date of extended status":
- If I put the extended work permit expiry date - it complains: This date must be before the date you became a permanent resident.
- If I put the date before I became a PR - it complains: Date must be after your status expired.
