After 40 days of expired work permit, I am still having a hard time looking for a company to process a labor market opinion as requirement for a new work permit. That is the only one missing on the requirements needed for restoring my lost status.
I have an on-process permanent residency application in Buffalo through the Canadian experience class though. But while waiting for file number and the process to be done, I need to get a new work permit and land a job.
Is there a chance that I could get a support letter in lieu of labor market opinion and apply for a new work permit? The Manitoba provincial nominee program has issued support letters to their applicants who had expiring work permit. I wonder if a support letter from the Buffalo office would be possible?
