I need a heads-up on this. My SIN and Work Permit expired on January 6th, 2024. However, My application for Permanent Resident has been in process since March of 2022. I need to update my SIN Now but I wonder if it's okay to apply for a new work permit while having a PR application in process. Please note that I'm a Protected Person by Status. Advice, please.
