expired pr card while visiting usa

Hi there,
My 22 year old daughter is a born american citizen and holds an american passport,who's been a pr in Canada since 2007. With the exception of a few visits back home, she lives and works and goes to school here in Canada, so she definitely meets RO.. She went to visit my brother, her uncle, in California for a week and found out her PR card has expired 9 days ago. She is coming back via airplane, Will they let her back into Canada?

Yes. She should not tell the airline she is a PR, as they could refuse to board her without a valid PR card or PRTD.
