Hi,

My PR card expired on 2015/06, and I haven't stay in Canada for more than 5 months in the past 5 years. (Luckily I am physically in Canada now)

I applied for a NEXUS card, and I'm scared that the agents in GOES will figure out that I have an expired PR card and notify immigration and have me deported :o :o :o

Please help, Thank you guys!!!

oh... I'm not sure you should have applied for NEXUS if you do not meet your RO. Are you a US citizen? If not, I don't think you even qualify for NEXUS since PRs have a 3 year residency requirement and you do not fulfill it. Unless you lied on your NEXUS application regarding your residence history (I pray you did not), then they will see you do not meet the requirement and reject you. Anyway, they will also want a valid PR card since that would be your entry document into Canada.

Will CBSA report you to CIC? I don't know the procedure but they will likely see something is wrong....

If you are not a US citizen, why did you even apply for NEXUS when you clearly do not meet the criteria? And if you are a US citizen in breach if Canadian PR RO, why apply and risk CBSA investigating your residential history??

Yikes!

I think there's a very good chance that this will be a problem, since they will undoubtedly discover that the RO hasn't been met. The only hope will be if the OP's Canadian citizen spouse/partner was with him/her while s/he was abroad, since that would mean that the RO has been met.

Might be worth requesting the NEXUS to be withdrawn, if that's even possible.
