I am a Canadian citizen and applied for my husband in November 2019. My husband received passport submission letter in February in email. But He noticed that email later in march, by that time the letter was expired and there was lockdown in India. The interesting thing was that in our online account there is no information about sending any letter or email. But when i checked the status just adding his last name, file number and DOB it states they mailed a letter and it can get delayed due to mail delivery process. So we were expecting the letter in the regular mail, not the email. We tried to reach officials via webform, calls and emails and explained our situation. But no satisfactory answer. Now when they start operating some services, we still are not getting anything back them. I even sent an email to Prime minister, which they replied that they forward my email to immigration minister of Canada. I am in too much stress due to this. Because there is no information regarding this issue anywhere. What should we do? What are our options? This is getting so annoying.
