Hi there, My Post graduate work permit is gona expire on 1 oct 2012
I did my medical exams for the PR since Nov 2011

Question is: could i still stay in canada and work after the post graduate work permit expires? since im in the process of applying for the PR? or i have to leave the country.

If not anything that could be done in the meantime , i live in QC

Thanks

If you want to keep working, your employer will have to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion and then you will have to apply for a new work permit.

If for any reason you employer cannot obtain an approved LMO, then you can change your status to that of a visitor (this would allow you to stay but not work).

Do you think if i apply for a csq and then extend my work visa, would i make it in time?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You cannot extend a PGWP.

Sorry, how about switching to a Normal work permit? From what i read was that i need to apply for a CSQ (since im in qc) and app for a work permit?
Im not familiar with the amount of time that would take... Would that make it before oct 1st?

Sorry - I can't answer that question. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
