Hello,

I gave IELTS (paper based) 2 years back in US and got these scores :
Speaking 8.5 Reading 7, Listening -7, Writing -8

As it is expiring now, so to keep my application active in queue, planning to give IELTS again. Currently in India. Got to know about computer based IELTS.

1- I am from IT background so thinking to give computer based, please let me know if anyone could share experiences who has given both paper and computer - is computer based easier for IT professionals ?

Any challenges in computer based ?

2- please suggest good material - books, CD or youtube links to get 7.5 + in listening ?

Go for computer based. I gave last week. Its awesome and easier to type than write on paper!

For listening materials, I would probably suggest you to refer Cambridge IELTS book (10 to 14) and Barron’s IELTS book :)
