Expert Suggestions required how to Apply for my Spouse Visa

Dear All,

Hope you are doing well, i need your expert opinions to apply for my Spouse Visa, Below is my current Status.

I already became a PR on December 2015, completed my landing process, and after two weeks i left Canada, My friend will receive my PR card and will send it to me via courier, I have plan to permanently return to Canada in december 2017 , now want to save some money.

I am planning to marry in April 2017, Now i am confused about how will i apply for my spouse visa, as after getting married still i will be out of Canada, but i want to start the visa process so that she can travel with me in Dec 2017 . so what you guys suggest i.e. whether to start the visa process in April 2017 or should i first go to Canada in Dec 2017 and then apply for her visa?
As i read some where that in order to apply for spouse visa one has to be physical available in Canada. please suggest your valuable ideas. FYI i am not from a visa exempt country.

You cannot start the process from outside of Canada. Since you are a PR, you must be living in Canada when you apply to sponsor your spouse and you must continue living in Canada while the application is being processed.

thanks for the reply, btw how much time it takes to process spouse visa while applying from inside Canada any idea?

moreover after applying for my spouse visa can she come with me to canada while her visa for PR is under process?
