Hello Everyone,

I would really appreciate if someone could tell me if medical has already been done and according to the doctor everything were fine even all medical examination result were good then why does someone has to do further medical?

What happened if cic sent an email to applicant to do further medical but applicant never received that email?

Thanks.

The DMP is only responsible for conducting a medical examination in accordance with Canada's immigration requirements. The designated physician cannot provide any advice on the immigration selection system. The final decision on whether or not a medical is acceptable is determined by the visa office and not the designated physician.

If your medical does not meet immigration requirements, the visa office will inform you by letter. If an e mail is not delivered to you the non-delivery message is instantly received by the Visa Office and a letter will be sent by post. If the letter sent by ordinary post also not received it is your bad luck as the processing of the application will be delayed further..

Thanks a lot Wilson for the explanation.

I should consider myself unlucky then because after waiting for nearly seven months for my passport which hasn't come back i email cic myself despite of having a lawyer and the reply was as follows:-

Kindly note that we sent a request for you to undergo further medical examination on 09-Sep-2010.

Same has never been received by me nor my agent until now.

Now i don't know what to do waiting for a reply from cic email was send to them on monday and until now nothing from their part.
