expert advice please ..wierd situation

Okay, here is the story about my friend..
some 20 years ago, his dad goes to Canada, settles there and gets married to someone else. He does not comeback untill a couple of years ago.

He now has a Canadian passport.

Question time- What are the ways and chances for my friend to enter Canada.

note: his father did not divorce the mum. He was just away from the family because of the second marriage thing. My friend is about 25 years of age with an Engineering degree.

If your friend is 25 years old, he will have to qualify for immigration on his own. Having a father in Canada shows strong ties to Canada and will make it harder to get a visa. He will have to declare his father is in Canada (if he is residing there - visiting home country doesn't count, he would still be LIVING in Canada).
