My work doesnt mention that i have taken unpaid vacations like parent leave and accompanying husband abroad.. they only mention that i worked from date 2014 until today but it's obvious in my passport that i havent been working at my job for a year because i travelled with my husband for his work. They dont want to mention my unpaid holidays... what can i do? Shall i mmentin that in my coverletter or what?

Yes, it is best to mention this in an LOE. If it was substantial (I.e. Several months), you should probably exclude it from the work experience section as well (especially if your net experience puts you in a lower experience bracket, e.g. one year instead of two).
What is LOE? Yes the 2 year vacation i won't count them as experience but my point is that they don't mention the vacation i took.. they only mention that i was employed from 2014 until now

LOE = letter or explanation. This can be uploaded post ITA. Explain the situation and make sure to include your work experience as two distinct periods.
Thank you for ur help but can you ellaborate how two distinct period?

First period = start of your job until you took unpaid leave

Second period = end of unpaid leave until today (if you are still working in the same job now).

This ensures the system will count the correct amount of experience.

Thank you so much
