Experience or Qualification, whether both or one will be considered in CRS score evaluation.

Currently i am working in an organisation for past one year, i am considering of pursuing a Post Graduation Diploma under distance learning program (1 year program). So, for the year i will pursuing the PGD, will my work experience be considered in CRS score evaluation or PG Diploma that i will receive or both ?
