Hi Friends

i have a problem regarding experience letter actually i am working in a organization since 5 years this is my major experience but the problem is that my company not give me experience letter due to my job is still on according to the rules when you give resign to company they issued a experience letter. but i have a appointment letter a company ID card and salary certificate etc is this ok instate of experience letter or what i can do please suggest seniors help me

write a letter to cic at the proper time
explain what happened

enclose everything related to your work

it will pass

You just explain the problem that why you can't get the experience certificate and send the notarized ID Card, Paying slip, Form No.16, Letter of appointment along with the phone numbers of the employer, they will make an enquiry.

Hello All,
Could you please share your experience about submitting reference letter and/or exp letter?

The exp letters which I have they does not mention about the role and duties performed (it only says duration, salary, designation) but CIC demands such information ? how did you guys handle this.

Also I am not comfortable telling my current employer that I am planning for Canada Imm? (they are looking for reasons for reducing the work force) If I am not able to provide such ref letters from current company then what could be the best I can do ? please suggest.

I see here couple of folks are thru and got their PR, please share your exp on this.

If I submit the as it is experience letters which I have from my previous employer will it work

I am planning to send my all docs to CIC Buffalo @ 2nd week of july.

Seniors please share your thoughts.

Have a good weekend

Thank you.

This seems problematic. Request your HR to provide you with anything you want as per the Organization's law. They should provide it. And always explain for absence of any required paper to CIC.

Thanks jnathan

I am trying to establish contact with my previous HR, in most of the cases i m finding issues for contacting them, since I m in US and contacting them in India is bit slow

Any ways I have to try else will include a cover letter along with proof that I tried to contact my previous employers and send it to CIC.

I could contact all my previous HR managers and they issued ref letter with information what i have requested.
I have sent the check list portion about Exp letters from the VisaOffice Guide to them and they issued with no delay.

Same goes with my existing company, they have also issued the ref letter address to CIC Buffalo NY office.
