How much is enough for a single person for the first 6 months to live a decent living?

Toronto,decent means good single apartment,able to eat good,go out few times per month,etc

If you must eat outside and 'go out' etc you probably think you need to live in a new condo and drive a car as well, so I'd say around $4000/month at least.

No I was just kidding. Though property prices are high but BC is good option in term of weather. Vancouver / Lower Mainland is only Canadian city with almost no snow fall at all. Its only 2 weeks of snow here at max. You can consider Abbotsford / Surrey and suburbs of Vancouver as these area are not that expensive yet as compared to Vancouver.

But if I recalled correctly, in the winter of 2016/17, I had to plowed my driveway and nearby pavements every week for 3 to 4 months of snowfall and there were a shortage of salt in the stores of metro Vancouver.

haha true. But last year from past experience I put winter tyre first time and I was looking for snow to use them....

Still compare to rest of Canada we have minimum snow fall ---- agreed eh ?
