Hey,

I am confused about the job offer letter. For Express Entry part time work hours can be added up over two years to meet the requirements but the phrasing says for the Job offer must be full time.

"A valid job offer has to be:
  • made by one employer
  • continuous
  • paid
  • full-time (at least 30 hours a week)"
Does this mean, that while part-time hours can count towards experience, any job offer must be 30 + going forward?

Or, is this just a reference to the amount of hours of experience required, and that a valid job offer could consist of part time work (25-30hrs)?

You're reading the requirements to get 50 extra points for a valid job offer. That's not the same as the work ex requirements.

If you don't have a job offer from a Canadian employer, this won't apply to you in any way.

I have a job offer, but its to stay in my current position, which has always been part time (25-30hrs). Will I be rejected because its not full time, or do I need to find work that is full time?

Has your employer obtained an approved LMIA? Your employer needs to get an approved LMIA in order for it to count as a job offer.

You need an LMIA-approved, full-time job to get the extra points.
