Hi there! Happy new year to everybody! May God Bless us all!

I need advise please! After the CBSA caught me working in my husbands business while im holding work permit under LCP on July 2011 they ask me to report every first wednesday of the month which i always comply. After i was caught me and my husband got married and pass the application for sponsorship.
I came today was hoping to get a good news, they ask me to wait and someone will talk to me. honestly i never thought thf person from ministers delegate. She asn me about the allegation to me. And verify some details after that she gave a paper it says exclusion order. Now i really dont whats going to happen next. Do i need to get a lawyer or what? Should i proceed of going back home and withdraw my application here! Please help me. ThAnk you so much

How i read your story, you are still lucky, Normal when you did something illigal within your stay, you get a Deportation order right away.
Sooo in some how, your visa you had on the time, prevented you a little from a Deportation order right away.
You still have a Exclusion Order, so you have to leave Canada (pay for the act you did, and start over!)

The fastest way:
1*Withdraw your application for inland, Go back to your country, Apply as outland again.

With a exclusion order, you have to leave Canada, and excluded for minimal 1 year (you can not fight this anymore, the judge has give you the exclusion order not CIC, CIC only hand it to you!)
The time is shown on you Cirtificate of departure when you leave Canada, they will give you a stack with documents when you leave (certificate of departure).

If you going to stay your Exclusion Order wil become a Deportation order when you dont leave on time!!!
When your Exclusion Order is changed in a Deportation Order, you have a BIGGER problem, and banded from canada even longer if not forever!

Tips and Many luck

1* Dont forget to send the Certificate od departure back to your visa office when you are back in your country.
2* Take out the copy part where it says Certificate of departure, you going to need it later.
3* When you apply again, make sure you are 100% honest, and fill the background exacly what you did on the time you were in Canada and why!
When you did do something wrong, you have to write it down in it, if you hide it on your application they going to refuse it, becouse they going to request all your papers from canada at the visa office, so they know!!!!

I keep reading about an 'open work permit', or at least it seems to be an option for those applying for PR from within Canada at least.

But there is one thing that keeps boggling my mind. If working contrary to their permit is a big no-no, then what's wrong with volunteering?

Volunteering is known as unpaid, and falls under a difrent category.
Some companys will give you something, but that is seen as gifts, and not on schedule base income.
I think its even binded on hours (Volunteering) you can do only so many hours, im not sure, becouse i dont know the laws in Canada.

Ofcource its always debatable on volunteer work or stand alone jobs, yes and no, but i wont go into that, becouse thats a no end.

Volunteering is fine as long as it's a role that is typically a volunteer/unpaid position. If you are volunteering in a role that someone usually gets paid to do (like the OP was in this case) - that's the same as working for a payment and illegal. Her husband would have benefited from this situation since she did the work for free and he didn't have to pay someone. The OP would have also benefited since she lives under her husband's roof and while she wasn't receiving payment for the work done, she could benefit from the fact the business had lower operating expenses, fewer benefits to pay, lower taxes, etc. CIC is well aware that some people try to exploit the volunteering loophole (i.e. have relatives/friends work for free in roles that would typically be paid) and that's why the OP is now in trouble.

Thanks for all the comments and advice. He is my employer in my LCP providing care for his ex common law children. Were not in relationship before i apply for work permit but time passed and we had each others back as couple.i have two kids from my husband! We are planning to get married as soon i complete my LCP supposed to be december 2011 but someone called and report me before it happens. What makes me sad is about my kids. I have 16 months girl and 4 months boy and i know how hard to be away from a father even for a while. Oh God Please help me!
The problem is that you did not comply with LCP program since you entered into a relationship with your employer, who became also a father of your children. Why didn't you get married earlier, since you have kids together (why would you wait until the end of your LCP program)? I think too many rules were broken in your case, that's why you got caught. I know how hard it must be but you really need to think before you do anything and strictly follow CIC rules.
