I was wondering if anyone knew if the United States (my country) is going to give me any grief about my Exclusion Order from Canada. I just want to know what to expect at the border so that I can be 100% repaired.

Thank you to anyone that replies to this with a helpful answer. :)

Nope, as long as you have proof of US citizenship you won't have a problem. Homeland Security will probably do a criminal records check to see if there are any outstanding warrants though,.

CBSA did that when they where talking to me before I got my Exclusion Order. Definitely good there...otherwise the CBSA said they would have detained me and deported me instead of issuing the Exclusion.

Anyways, so basically the DHS/CBP will just double check my info and ask me what my business was in Canada like they normally do when I cross?

Are you being escorted or returning on your own to the US? Each way can be handled differently by the DHS.

Then after you have confirmed your departure on the Canadian side you will be seeking entry to the US as just another person among many and meet the same entry requirements as any other US citizen going home. If you are only being excluded it is unlikely the DHS will have been made aware and unless you say something it is possible it may not become known to them.

Good deal. I am not wanting to deal with anymore hassle than I need to. I jut want to cross the border and start this damn ban...and let the layers loose to fix it.
