exceeding the processing time ?

Hello there ,
I just submitted online my application on 19 March 2014 , but it exceeded the processing time and no decision has been made yet . I tried to call them today but I was not able because they are experience a high call volumes . Is there another way to reach them ?

it's important to be more specific here... what did you apply for?

if it's for family sponsorship, i suggest you check out that forum. There is a thread specifically for march PR applicants. March applicants are experiencing a delay in processing. There are some reasons that have been outside CIC's control. There really isn't any other way to contact CIC except for that one phone number, that is only valid from INSIDE canada. Most likely if you email them, you will not receive a response.

Again, providing more details about what you applied for may help others guide you where to look/what to do next.

I am actually a student and I applied online inside Canada for a temporary visa . in fact ,My CIC account shows that there has been updated on my application twice but no decision has been made yet but because it exceeded the processing time I got worried and I want to check that with them .
