Exact date required on reference letter?

I wonder if anyone has successfully got PR with a reference letter which doesn't mention the exact date of joining the company. My reference letter stated the durations of working from April 2008 to August 2016, but didn't state the exact date.
I wonder if anyone has bene in the same situation and got it? Thanks.

U can attach your offer letter which would have the date of joining
