What happens if one of your ex employers shut his bussiness down, how can CIC contact them if they are no longer in bussiness to verufy work experience?

They can easily trace a needle from a hay stack. Its not a big issue for the agencies involved.

In case the business is closed, you will have to send affidavit regarding it- mentioning about the closure.

Ongoing recession has seen many lay offs and businesses closed.
Yours have tooo !
Nothing will happen, they "might" call the numbers and would find that the number now belongs to a Poker house.

But how did you provide proof of employment or a reference letter from this company? I am in the same boat too... not sure who to contact regarding reference letter...

Dont you have anyone with whom you have contact?
Your manager, supervisor, your department head.
Ask anyone to give you a ref letter with backdate and a sign.
I am sure they might have a seal with them of that old office.
Dont let any hole to stay in Full Docs. CIC's are strict on dealing with cases these days, coz this reduces the backlog and they have a deadline to make decisions.

Thanks for replies. I got the letter but bussiness closed . The question is how will visa office verify if bussiness is closed, no one there to give info. It worries me.
