I'm a student and planning to travel from Iraq to Vancouver (transfers in Istanbul, Paris, Frankfurt) within this month, my online application for studying has approved and got POE and waiting on my passport to get stamped. I'm planning to take my wife with me (she has Tourism Visa) but I didn't put her name in the application, do you all think we may face any issues with the airlines or airports? As she might need an approved authorization letter to travel with me to satisfy the airlines! please share your experience and tell us what happened or what we may experience during out travel until arrival in Vancouver.

I also have a similar dilemma with my spouse who wasn't part of my application but will be applying for a TRV separately. I'll be following this thread.

When you put family information, there is a checkbox on the right that asks if this person will accompany you? if you said No, and now taking wife with you then I don't know what they might do.

I ticked No because my spouse is not accompanying us for the period of my study. I only need him to go with us for a couple weeks to help us settle down and I explained this in my SOP, but I didn't apply for a visitors visa for him with our application. Perhaps we should have done that...

Someone who had been in a similar situation can be the best person to answer.

Well, if you check on Yes, that individual will have to fill in some documents and apply for his/her application too. But according to IRCC website, if he/she already has a valid visitor visa then he/she can travel with spouse.
