ETA issue (been waiting over 7 weeks)

Hi all, seeking for advise
I have a OWP together w ETA obtained on Aug 2021. Becoz of the passport updated, I need to reapply again on 21 Feb 2022.
However, the system doesn’t reply any after 72 hours so I made another application on 25 Feb 2022. By then, I received a list of documents that need to be provided, I provided all next day including each pages of passport, travel history, CV, past 10 years home add. etc….
On 8 March 2022, I received a decline mail that mentioned I didn’t provided documents. I found out I just provide all documents for my second application 25Feb 2022 only.
Right now, my application still in progress but still no updates till now! I have sent webform but still receive nothing fm them so far.
May I know if anyone have such experience and should I apply another eTA again? I have already cancel my flight due to the eTA issue.

Delays to eTAs are unusual and usually indicate there is an issue or something IRCC is looking into. You may be waiting several more months for an answer.

What were the documents you were asked to provide? What was the full list?

If there is a delay in getting an eTA, then normally there is some sort of issue impacting the application such as criminality or a concern about misrepresentation (i.e. failure to declare past refusals) or concerns about past travel history. Do you have any suspicions about what the problem may be?

I am clean on my past, no criminal record for sure. I think may be I forgot to provide documents on my first application and got alert on IRCC so my second application even take longer a time. Anyone experienced second apply on the eTA, will it even take longer coz of first time reject?
