Estimated time for passport return by IRCC

Submitted passport in-person at VFS Abu Dhabi yesterday, today application status was updated on GCKey with visa counterfoil details.
Not sure if the passport will be couriered to us directly or if it will be first returned to VFS, but I expect to have the passport back within the next 2-3 business days.

Oh that's great man ! I have submitted my passport as well at VFS Pakistan however they'll courier it to Abu Dhabi office for sure as that's the primary office. Today I got an update from VFS that IRCC has received my passport and currently being processed.
No such changes in my GCKey, what exactly does your GCKey account shows and where ?
Right above the "Messages about your application" section, a new section will appear that will have the title "Document Status".
Also, all fields in Details section will show as completed, including background check.
Thanks ! I'll check for that regularly. Currently no such update for me on GCKey however I have received update from VFS.
Moreover, I guess they'll most probably send it first to VFS and then will courier it to you.
Received the letter today in GCKey, still waiting for the passport.
