ESL to COLLEGE - do I need a new study permit?

Hi all,

I came to Canada in January with a study permit to study English (ESL). The permit is valid until September.

I am now applying for a program with a public college, starting in June.

Do I need to apply for a new study permit? Or am I allowed to continue studying until Sep with my current permit?
