On my husband's IMM 0008, upon proofreading I have found an error ( I checked NO instead of YES), this document has been validated. After I make the correction do I have to validate again? Can I make the change with white out and just use black pen to check the yes box?? On the same document there are TWO validate buttons, one at the bottom of page 3, and the other at the END under the consent and declaration, do I validate this document twice?? Thanks.

Please validate it again and print it out. It's the best option for you.

So each time I hit validate new codes are generated?

Yes, the barcodes contain all your answers (so that they don't need to be typed in after CIC receives them). So it would be best to reprint.

Ok, thank you, but can you look at my original post, I modified it a little, there are 2 validate buttons, do I do one or both??

one is enough

More, IMM 5669 Q.6, "convicted of or are you currently charged with on trial for or party to a crime or offense or subject of any criminal proceedings in any other country"......does conviction for speeding count? Is that criminal or traffic?? TY.

well it depends how long was he in jail and for was traffic offense? In my opinion, you should say " yes' and explain what kind of thing you did to get arrested. Remember, if it's criminal it will show in his criminal records. So be as honest as possible. If it's not criminal, they will just ignore it.

Tickets for speeding are not criminal. Convictions for offences other than HTA and parking is what they are looking for.
