Dear all,
I landed in 2010 and am currenntly residing out of canada but wish to return soon, upon checking the PR card that was mailed to me at the time I just realised a typing spelling error in my grandfathers name where the last letter is missing so instead of (Abood ) they have typed (Aboo) ,I am worried this will affect my re-entering Canada again, please advise .

It should not be a problem entering Canada but the problem will most likely come from the airline company you are flying with and/or security clearance at the airport your flight will take off from going to Canada. Now if you enter Canada by land from the US, that shouldn't be a problem.

Look at the card again and the letter that came with it... there should be a comment saying something about long names are not written in full but under special lighting, an authorized agent will be able to see it. So eventhough your name is missing the "d", it may be entered in full in the system.

No Problem

Signatures are no longer printed on PR card.
