EOI-SW : Incorrect Personal Information Submitted

Hi All!

I am needing your help guys! I have a few questions to ask. I am really worried about my EOI submitted last night, and my dilemma is that I commit a mistake filling out my year of birth ONLY. The day and month are correct, however, the year is incorrect. It was typographical error, 1984 was clicked but my year of birth is 1983. I only recognize it after submitting my EOI. When I want to correct it, I cannot edit nor change my year of birth. It was an unintentional typographical error, and needing your help to know what must I do? I already email the given email address in "Contact Us" to their link right away with my documents attached as their reference but I am really worried if they will refused or void my EOI application.

Hope you guys can help me to what I need to do, and give me your knowledge or your experience about my concern.

If you are talking about Express Entry profile, then dont worry, delete and re-create your profile.
Or Edit and modify your profile.

Hi! Thanks much for your response. The profile I created was Expression of Interest for Manitoba. I cannot modify my birth date already that is why I am worried with my information submitted.

For me , in ur case you need to create new EE profile ( not sure about what is EOI , i believe Expression of Interest ) with correct year ( YYYY)
ur DOB is keying in all the documents so it it better to avoid any issues that may arise in the future ....

Yeah, you are right.. EOI is Expression of Interest. But I don't know about EE. Express of Entry, right? Do I have to create EE before filling out EOI? Actually, my sis-in-law who just give me the access to fill out the EOI. That is why I don't have any idea if I have EE profile.

Yeah, you are right.. EOI is Expression of Interest. But I don't know about EE. Express of Entry, right? Do I have to create EE before filling out EOI? Actually, my sis-in-law who just give me the access to fill out the EOI. That is why I don't have any idea if I have EE profile.

I checked my application, and it is under MPNP only. Do I need to create Express Entry profile?
