What's the purpose of the envelope?

Yes the instructions clearly specify a 9" by 12" envelope.

Thanks Byrwus. My documents are not fitting into a 9 x 12 envelope as well. This is why I asked if we could use a bigger one.

I was aware of this requirement but I still used an envelope a bit bigger.
I am a happy holder of aor.
