Hi all,

I have recently received PPR but there are no instructions for sizing of envelops. Would someone please guide me what size to pick?

Thanks,

[Note]

These are the only instructions given to me in the letter.

If you have a mailing address in Canada:

- The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.

- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:

CPC – Ottawa – PR

Get one of the larger envelopes - your passport needs to easily fit, that and a CoPR is all that they will return.

Then put everything into an even larger envelope and mail that to IRCC. Your prepaid envelope should fit inside the larger envelope without being folded or crushed.

Main concern is if that prepaid envelope is smaller than letter size, does cic folds COPR pages?

I don’t see them being adamant on sizing otherwise they would have clearly put this into instructions.

I found this on their website, although it doesn’t say for PPR specifically but same principle.

Hope this discussion helps someone in future.

Yes, they fold the CoPR. The CoPR is simply a single page letter on standard paper (it's a little bigger than A4 size, but not that huge), it's not laminated or anything.
