I hold a valid tourist visa to Canada. I've been working on investment options and was able to join hands with a company in Scarborough for investment. I've been asked to do a site visit as a first step. I do not have any immediate relative inside Canada but I hold all the necessary documents from the investee company regarding my travel. Is it safe to travel on a visitor visa now?

No. You don’t have a work permit, job or family and you need written authorization to travel by IRCC. And you will not receive written authorization because you don’t meet any conditions. If you are “joining hands” or doing a site with an investor then you need to look at putting in an expression of interest for the OINP entrepreneur program.
I understand, but my lawyer suggested that the first step in applying into entrepreneur program is to do a site visit. But considering the travel ban, I wanted to make sure if it's safe to travel.
For now, I just wanted to check the company's information and credibility before I plan any form of investment
As others have said, traveling at this time is not possible for you. You won't be allowed to board the plane to Canada. Your reasons for travel are classified as non-essential. You will need to wait until the travel ban has been lifted.
