Hello everyone,
My daughter has study permit and is in Canada. I have tourist visa and have been planning to visit her since March but due to the current situation and new regulations I'm not sure whether I would be given permission to enter Canada if I travel by the first available flight before end of July!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With the travel ban in place right now you would not be allowed to travel since your reasons for travel are non-essential. That travel ban is currently in place until July 21 however there's probably a good chance it will be extended again like the U.S. border restrictions have been extended.

Don't book any flight tickets until you know for certain that travel restrictions have been lifted.

Its until July 31 and US border until August 21

Thanks for all your replies. The problem is she is new in Canada. In fact we travelled to Canada together in Feb. I had to leave and go back to our Country for couple of weeks to sort out some requirements for her college. Unfortunately one week after I left Covid spread started and flights got cancelled.
I'm very worried as she is only 13 Yrs old and feels very lonely.
It will get even worse if the border restrictions get extended.
I was hoping to hear from government about exemptions after a month but apparently they haven't considered such cases.
Would it makes any differences if we write to government?

You can certainly try writing to IRCC for permission. It may take a while to hear a response.

Don't buy a plane ticket until the travel restrictions have been changed or until you have permission to travel from IRCC.
