Hi everyone,

I am wondering if this situation my cause a problem for me when re-entering Canada:
- Been studying then working in Canada since 2018
- My multiple entry visitor visa and open work permit both expire on August 31st 2022.
- I have submitted a PR application in Dec 2021, and I am waiting for AOR so I can apply for a bridging work permit (Quebec).
- I am planning on entering Canada early August, and applying for a new visitor visa from there when landing - so when my visitor visa expires on August 31st, I have implied status and maintain status in Canada.
- I do not work for a Canadian company. I work remotely for a US company with no ties/revenue in Canada which is not considered "work" by legal definition so doesn't require a work permit. (been remotely working for that company from Canada, now from abroad while travelling).

Can this situation be a problem when entering Canada? I always have doubts given how many issues I've had with the system the last couple of years. I will have valid work permit and visitor visa when entering, it's just that they will be expiring a couple of weeks after entry.

Thank you very much
