Dear Friends,

I'm coming to canada mid of July and I've been away for about 7 months, Is there any issue i might face from the immigration officer in the airport Huh?

I came to Canada last October and studied ESL for about 3 months and had to leave for personal reasons back home.

Now I want to come back and continue the study and my study permit is still valid till beginning of Novermber.

Pls advise me, I'm so worried,,

Thanks

The 7 months spent away is a huge gap.You will need to have watertight explanation for the period and better still if you have documents and emails to back up your position. Then your schooling must still be valid. I mean you've not concluded your schooling. If you can get a letter from your school certifying that your program is still running and that they are aware of your time away and specify the time you are expected back to school. That should suffice.Good luck!

Thanks Obib,

Basically, my wife delivered last Jan. and she is student with me, so she could not resume the study right away, that is why we decided to take 6 months break..

Is that OK with them you think,,
